The spotted wing drosophila is an invasive pest that has caused significant damage to wine, pome and stone fruit crops in Europe since 2008. Unlike other fruit flies, it attacks ripening, healthy fruit. The project develops scientifically grounded, environmentally friendly control and monitoring strategies – including a fly trap developed at the University of Graz.

Legal notice: I am not a certified lawyer and cannot provide legal advice in the classical sense. My services are limited exclusively to legal preparation – structuring, documenting and preparing legal matters – for subsequent consultation by qualified lawyers.
Advisory is often partly fundable through existing programmes – e.g. EXIST, BAFA „Förderung unternehmerischen Know-hows“ or INVEST/aws advisory grants.
For funding bodies, project agencies & transfer offices
Many technical and scientific founding teams are excellent in their field, but have to pick up commercial and legal know-how in parallel to their research. This is exactly where avoidable risks emerge – in shareholder agreements, IP arrangements, use of funds or within the team.
I am available to funding bodies, project agencies and transfer offices as a referrable, neutral sparring partner for their funded teams – ad hoc, in an interim role or over the full project lifetime. The goal: fewer frictions, cleaner structures, and a higher success rate for the funded ventures.
